Artistic swimming, formerly known as synchronized
swimming, a sport which has various combinations such as swimming, gymnastics,
and dance. This is one of the hardest sports since it is about having precision
and perfect synchronization with movements in the water while the music plays.
Over time this sport began to have new, more complex rules and elements of
gymnastics and dance, increasing the difficulty and visual appeal of the sport.
Artistic swimming is a very demanding sport but thanks
to the mental, emotional, and social benefits, it makes it an enriching and
rewarding activity for those who practice it. For example, stress reduction, in
my case I have experienced tranquillity and calm when entering the water. One
of the benefits that this offers you is teamwork since this encourages group
cooperation and communication. In addition, it has the development of
discipline and concentration, artistic swimming requires regular practice and a
high level of concentration to execute complex routines.
When doing this sport, I feel happy because I feel
free to perform figures in the water, even if they are difficult, I know that I
will achieve it if I practice and don't give up. In addition, it has helped me
have a good physique, lung capacity and flexibility. The best part is when you
compete with other countries and you get to travel showing how hard you worked
on your water routine, earning medals and recognition.

performing aquatic figures and the opportunity to compete internationally,
